Nicky received a B.F.A in Graphic Design from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI and a B.F.A in Information and Media Studies from the University of Western Ontario. She is Canadian-born and bred, but has been living and working as a designer in Detroit for the past 15 years.
She began her professional career as an Interactive Designer at Organic, Inc. working on a variety of brands such as Hilton, Smuckers, Volkswagen, & Kimberly-Clark.
Currently, she works as a Creative Director specializing in Art Direction and Interactive Design at Commonwealth//McCann creating engaging digital content for Chevrolet. You can also find her organizing for her neighborhood Block Club on the East side of Detroit, taking care of her plants or at the gym working out.
She is also the proud Mama to Maya, life partner to Kikko, and a pet mama to the best chocolate lab to exist, Topo.
